Once upon a time there was a boy named Billy, Billy was a freshman in high school. He had a crush in one of his classes, they saw each other after school and talked for hours. For weeks they built up a friendship, until it was what Billy had been waiting for Homecoming! He thought up a plan to ask her out to homecoming, it would be great and it was flawless. So he went up to her after school the week before Homecoming and asked her. He went up to her and reached into his pocket throwing out a lot of glitter, bent down and asked her. She looked shocked and then sad. She looked down to him and said no in the kindest way possible. Billy suddenly felt sick and went home, once he got home he fell into bed and let the calmness of sleep take him. The next day his crush was asked out and she said yes. Billy told himself that he wouldn’t have made it anyway, he continued on with his life never trusting anyone again.
